The BREAST CARE AND BONE DENSITY CENTER, based in Northcliff, Johannesburg, and led by specialist breast radiologist Prof. Elaine Joseph, offers advanced breast and bone imaging services for early detection and diagnosis.
We are sensitive to the fears around breast imaging and annual mammograms: our expert, all-female team aims to help each of our patients feel comfortable and at ease while providing an accurate and efficient assessment and diagnosis.

The Breast Care and Bone Density Centre is a proud member of the BCCE Johannesburg, the only internationally accredited multidisciplinary breast care centre in Africa. We have maintained our full accreditation through the NAPBC program since 2016.
Women should have a screening mammogram every year from the age of 40.

Breast Imaging
Our Breast imaging services include mammography, ultrasounds and consultation with a radiologist.
Breast Interventional Procedures
Interventional services include biopsies and other biopsy-related procedures.
Bone Density Scans
Bone density scanning, is an enhanced form of x-ray technology that is used to measure bone loss.
